This story is based on incomplete reporting and gives an erroneous impression that Ohio is about to purge voters. The reporter ought issue a correction.A press release by the Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, dated 9/5, said, "Secretary Brunner directed that 60-day notices sent by boards of election to voters that are returned as undeliverable cannot be used as the sole reason for cancelling an Ohioan’s voter registration.
I'm from the Cleveland area. David Rosenfeld does not mind if the dead vote in elections or not. He doesn't mind that, according to the US Census, 130,000 people have moved out of the county since 2000. David doesn't mind that ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is under investigation by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections for fraud.Quote from The Plain Dealer article:"ACORN has submitted about 75,000 voter registration cards to the Cuyahoga board this year. Board employees are unsure how many of the cards are fraudulent. But the voter registration department received so many suspicious cards that it began compiling a binder with evidence. The binder grew to be an inch-thick."Apparently, David Rosenfeld doesn't mind if minorities are taken advantage of during an election drive. As long as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are registered Democrats, that's all that matters to the media.http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2008/08/cuyahoga_board_probes_voter_re.html
