Sara Miller McCune

Sara Miller McCuneSara Miller McCune is the founder of SAGE Publications, Inc., and is the currently executive Chair of SAGE’s Board of Directors. Mrs. McCune is also a founder and board member of Sage Publications Ltd. and co-founder of Sage Publications India Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. McCune remains actively involved in the company’s ongoing expansion and development.

Mrs. McCune is president of the McCune Foundation, based in Ventura, California. In 2007, McCune founded the Miller-McCune Center for Research, Media and Public Policy that publishes the award-winning print and online magazine Pacific Standard.

She is a member of the board of directors of the Center for the Advanced Study in the Behavioral Science at Stanford University and of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.

P. Steven Ainsley

Steve AinsleyP. Steven Ainsley is the president and publisher of Pacific Standard. Before joining the magazine in 2011, Ainsley spent three decades as a senior manager with the New York Times Company. His last position with the Times Company was publisher of The Boston Globe. Ainsley has held directorships on the boards of several not-for-profit agencies, and has been recognized as Santa Barbara Humanitarian of the Year and Santa Barbara’s Anti-Defamation League Person of the Year. He is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow. Ainsley has been a guest lecturer at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and was commencement speaker at the University of North Alabama in 2008. Ainsley holds degrees from New York University and Emory University’s Advanced Management Program.

Geane DeLima

Geane DeLimaMarketing and sales director Geane DeLima is the executive director of the Miller-McCune Center for Research, Media, and Public Policy, home of Pacific Standard. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising with academic journals, societies, and consumer publications. She has worked closely with the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences, the American Association for Correctional and Forensic Psychology, Sociologists for Women in Society, the Society for Public Health Education, the Association of Black Psychologists, and the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics, and Public Policy.
